BioStitch and Bitch by Debbie Stoller, editrix of BUST magazine, rekindled a latent love for needles and yarn. I've become a full blown yarn addict in a little less than two years.
Knitting has long been considered antiquated, something for grandmas and whipped little housewives. That just isn't true. It's a creative outlet and a downright nerdy/fun one too. It can be totally challenging and totally relaxing. When I'm working on a straight forward scarf I can zone out, watch TV, read my homework, or talk to a friend, and all the knitting does is grow and make me breathe a little deeper.
Knitting is one of those minute to learn, lifetime to master deals, and I'm in it for the long haul.
