What?!?! Is that what it looks like right now MA? At least you can wear your sweaters. It was 87 in Houston today.

OMG, no! I WISH it were like this, then I would wear all of my way-too-warm sweaters. It's a nice damp 50 degrees around here, and we haven't seen snow yet. I just liked this picture.

Guess what, I had Texan customers at Webs the other day! Their daughter went to Smith College. We talked about the Astros, it was great.

I've seen you at Webs (and also over on craftster)! Hee hee! At Webs, you actually pointed out some yarn to me (I wanted sparkly stuff) but then handed me over to the crochet-lady (I can't remember her name)... I decided to use the Brilloso, mixed with a black cotton/tencel (Classic Elite?) and a grey mercerized cotton. I love Brilloso, I just wish it came in MORE colors (solid ones, too). :) Anyway, love your blog! I can't wait to see that Twinkle sweater! Are you doing it in similar colors? I will be on the look out for your sock in the store. Always wanted to try sock knitting... Take care! ~ Marnie
P.S. I wanted to post a comment on your new blog, but I don't have an account and it won't let me...

Hi Marnie! I hope Pixie was helpful--she's totally trying to convert me to crochet and it's kind of working! The sock is a good beginner one, it's knit with a bulky yarn and it's a free pattern in the store. If you need help with it, I have a free knitting clinic on Fridays at 3 p.m.

See you at Webs!

Hi again! Yes, Pixie was very helpful! A bulky sock... that is perfect! I will take a look next time I'm in the store. I didn't know about the clinic. Lucky that I get most Friday afternoons off! ;) See you there! ~ Marnie
